One day a few years ago I was taking my 65lbs. Alapaha Bulldog "Choco" to the vet. Like usual she jumped right in the back seat for me and we were off. On the way there I had to break hard and swerve to avoid a deer and my poor bully was thrown across the back seat. That day I decided to always restrain my dog. After about a year of trying different restraints I found that they were cumbersome and difficult at best to use. Some took a descent amount of time to route the seat belt through and others were just not made as well. One device actually clipped to the D ring located at the bend in the seat that is used to attach a baby seat but even this one’s clip was just too much effort for me and not easily removed. So I thought about how I could make something better.
In 2010 I got together with my business partners and we started brainstorming. We wanted to figure out a way that we could secure our dogs quickly and safely. After a lot of research and development we came up with the Click N Stay? Our product accomplished everything we wanted. The simple and well-made steel piece fits right on most nylon leashes. It is designed in two sizes to fit all standard leash sizes including a 3/8" width, a 3/4'' width, and a 1" width lead. This is one thing we wanted to make sure of when we designed the Click N Stay?because I know a lot of dog owners and many are very picky about their leash they use. So we made a product that fits your leash. This also makes it cheaper because you do not have to buy a leash that is attached. Many of these are poorly made and not comfortable to use.
With the Click N Stay?you simply route your leash through it with no complicated buckles to use and slide it to adjust the desired length. Once this is done you can leave it on the leash or take it off easily anytime you want to do so. You can also very easily change the length you want to give your dog in the cases that your pup just loves to put their head out of the window. Once on the leash, the Click N Stay?buckles right in to the receiving end of your cars seatbelt and releases the same way your seatbelt does, with the simple push of a button.
We always recommend using a harness on your dog while they are traveling in your vehicle. It is the safest way to travel. A collar works fine as well but your pet will not be as secure.
